Strawberry U-pick at HWY 19

Thanks again for choosing to support the local farmers at HWY 19 and Good Local Markets by attending this Strawberry U-Pick Event! 

Open strawberry picking will be from 10A-12P at 8521 State HWY 19 Athens, TX 75751. Strawberries are $7 per pound after picking. You may pay with cash or card. 

Directions to Highway 19 from Dallas: Hwy 175 East to Athens. Just as you enter Athens City Limits turn right onto loop 7. Travel 4 exits to Highway 19. Exit and go right on Hwy 19. You will see the hospital on the left when you exit. Travel 4 miles south on Hwy 19. You will pass Athens Middle School, the farm is 2 miles past the school on the left. Can’t miss all the strawberry signs and flags (photos below). Come in the gate and follow the road back to the berry patch. 

GLM will have some water and cups available on site, but it is encouraged that you bring your own water bottles. Wear sunscreen and closed toed shoes.
